It’s cold(ish) and (oftentimes) rainy outside, but the Student Farm Club is active as ever! Students, join us on Thursday evenings at 6pm in 215 Armsby Building for our weekly meetings to get involved! New faces are always welcome! Here’s a preview of what’s going on this semester:

  • The Production Team is growing food in the greenhouses using a hydroponic system. Look for our fresh salad mix in Redifer dining commons later this semester!
  • Attending and hosting youth education programs at the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture’s Winter Conference (PASA)
  • Going on field trips to Philadelphia and to the Biltmore Estate to learn about different types of agricultural production
  • Running our Cooking Collaborative cooking program
  • and more!
