We want to encourage you to come to one of the two visioning meetings this afternoon or tomorrow evening. These are an opportunity for students, faculty, staff from across the university, along with community members, to dialogue with each other about what they want to see in a student farm and sustainable food systems curriculum.
This pair of sessions are the only large-group meetings we will have this semester! So please come, meet others who are interested in this initiative, share your ideas, and hear others’ ideas directly. Spending just two hours together at these meetings is a huge way that you can show your support. Many of you have said that building community should be a primary goal of the initiative. Well, coming to the table at community events are a great way to start doing just that!
Yes, we are all busy with too many other things going on in life. And yes, your time spent at these meetings will be well worth it. See you there!
