Penn State students are invited to join the Ross Student Farm on Wednesday, September 4, from 5-7 p.m. for the Campus Food Systems Kick-Off. This event offers new and returning students the opportunity to explore food systems, nutrition, agriculture, and sustainability engagement opportunities available on campus and professionally.
The event will feature a meet and greet with several student organizations focusing on various aspects of food systems, interactive tours of the Student Farm, and crafts like nature mandalas and sun prints. Attendees can also participate in a raffle to win Student Farm Club merchandise, sustainable kitchen items and enjoy a farm-to-table dinner catered by Websters.
If you are interested in topics such as food waste, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, food justice, or food insecurity, this event is a must-attend. Campus Food Systems Kick-Off is designed to showcase the diverse opportunities for involvement in food system and sustainability related activities and initiatives at Penn State.
