The Student Farm Club will welcome a special guest to its meeting this Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:00pm in 101 Osmond, as Penn State instructor and USDA Northeast Climate Hub Researcher Dan Tobin is set to give an educational talk. This meeting is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend!
Tobin’s talk will focus on agriculture as a foundation for community building and other social aspects of agricultural development. He’ll also speak to the importance of our group in the Penn State community. It’s sure to be an informative and engaging evening!

Dan Tobin is an instructor and research associate in the USDA Climate Hub
Tobin received his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Extension Education and International Agriculture and Development from Penn State in 2014. His research interests include food security, sociology of agriculture and food systems, and more. He is currently a Penn State instructor and the coordinator of the International Agriculture minor, and he is a research associate in the USDA Northeast Climate Hub.
